Lead Air Monitoring Lecture & Workshop

Course includes a review of the OSHA Construction Standard's air monitoring requirements and procedures for calibrating personal air monitoring pumps. 1 Day Ohio Lead-Based Paint Essential Maintenance Training

Trains maintenance supervisors and maintenance staff at residential, multifamily rental properties, child care facilities or schools built before 1950 which contain or may contain lead-based paint. Following the procedures covered enables an owner or manager a rebuttable presumption that the unit doesn't contain a lead hazard and is not the source of lead poisoning to the occupant. Includes 1-1/2 hours of hands-on activities with multiple desktop exercises. Doesn't include OSHA training requirements or the complete training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.134 Respiratory Standard. The workshop includes inspection, donning & doffing, use and verification of the respirators seals.
