AHERA Operations And Maintenance/OSHA Class III

Meets EPA AHERA O&M and new OSHA Class III Construction Standard 16 hour training requirements. Trains maintenance staff to perform small maintenance related asbestos tasks. Limited to no more than 3 linear or square feet of Asbestos Containing Materials. This may include one glovebag, one mini-enclosure and/or the small cleanup of debris.

Asbestos Class II Specific Training

This course covers work practices for the removal of one type of OSHA Class II materials (Floor Tile/Mastic; Transite; Roofing; Gaskets). By following the covered work practices the workers are trained to removed one of these materials in compliance with current EPA/OSHA requirements.

EPA Asbestos Project Designer

Course covers all aspects of asbestos abatement project design from abatement specifications and preparing abatement drawings. Students are supplied with a copy of NIBS model guide specification for asbestos abatement.

EPA Asbestos Building Inspector

Course covers government regulations (NESHAP, AHERA, OSHA), building plans, surveying for asbestos materials, field trip, estimates, sampling and analysis.

EPA Asbestos Management Planner

• 16 hours
• 3 student minimum

Course covers government regulations, response action selection, O&M planning, risk assessment, and record keeping requirements.

Prerequisite: EPA Inspector Course Completion

EPA Asbestos Building Inspector/ Management Planner

AHERA Awareness/OSHA Class IV

• 2 hours
• 5 student minimum
• $50/person

Meets EPA AHERA Awareness, new OSHA General Industry custodial and Construction Standard Class IV 2 hour training requirements. Trains custodial & maintenance staff who work around but do not disturb asbestos or presumed asbestos materials, including floor tile.
