EPA/HUD Lead Worker

Meets EPA/HUD training requirements. Doesn't include OSHA requirements. Trains residential lead-based paint abatement workers in the critical aspects of successfully conducting a lead abatement project. Content includes sources of lead, PPE, abatement methods, cleanup, waste disposal & eight hours of hands-on training.

Course designed for persons responsible for inspecting facilities for lead-based paint, & lead containing soil, dust or water. Covers OSHA, HUD, EPA & local regulations. In depth coverage of sampling methods. Participate in eight hours of workshops on testing lead-based paint with XRF, chemical and bulk sampling and workshops on soil, dust & water sampling.

EPA/HUD Lead Risk Assessor

Meets EPA/HUD training requirements. Course designed for persons responsible for inspecting facilities for lead-based paint, & lead containing soil, dust or water to determine where a lead risk exists. Emphasizes dust & soil sampling protocols, covers recommendations for abatement or interim controls and follow-up inspection intervals. Eight hours of hands-on training including site visits.

Indiana Rules Awareness

Converts non-Indiana certified lead-based paint courses for licensing in Indiana. Consists of a two-hour review of current Indiana lead regulations.

RRP Certified Renovator

Lead safety training approved by the EPA . Any contractor performing qualifying work on pre-1978 homes or child-occupied facilities must employ at least one Certified Renovator who has successfully completed this training. Content includes sources of lead, PPE, containment methods, cleanup, waste disposal & hands-on training.
